Leonard & Associates, CPAs / Attorneys-At-Law is managed by Mark R Leonard.

Mr. Leonard is a graduate of Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, with a double major in both Accounting and Finance. He furthered his education by graduating from St Louis University School Of Law.

Mr. Leonard began his professional career with Price Waterhouse & Co (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), spending almost a decade in their St Louis office. While there, he was responsible for tax consulting services provided to Fortune 500 corporate clients as well as smaller family-owned businesses. He also was in charge of the firm’s Executive Tax Assistance program, which provided income tax planning/compliance and estate planning to the senior officers of major St Louis companies.

After leaving Price Waterhouse, Mr. Leonard was head of the Tax Department for one of the largest local CPA firms in St Louis. Next, he returned to an international CPA firm and headed the Tax Department for their St Louis office. Thereafter, Mr Leonard decided to open his own firm.

Mr Leonard specializes in providing income tax planning, income tax preparation for individuals and businesses, estate planning, preparation of Wills & Trusts, transactional law for businesses, elder law & Medicaid planning, resolution of IRS & state tax audits & collections, and many other services to individuals and businesses. He represents clients throughout the country.

Mr Leonard is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Illinois and Missouri. He is admitted to the state bars of both Illinois and Missouri.

Mr Leonard is a member of the American Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Academy of Attorney-CPAs.

Mr Leonard has served as Chairman of the Tax Committee for the St Louis Chapter of The Missouri Society Of Certified Public Accountants and also Chaired the Southern Illinois Tax Conference.
